About the Hub
The Liver Critical Care Hub brings together evidence, knowledge, opportunities, patient support and public involvement across liver critical care.
Our purpose
Caring for critically ill people with liver disease is inherently multidisciplinary, spanning intensive care, hepatology, transplantation, anaesthesia, surgery, nursing, pharmacy, dietetics, physiotherapy, nephrology and research. The Hub aims to make useful evidence, professional knowledge, opportunities, patient support and routes into public involvement easier to find and understand.
Editorial group
The Hub was founded by Tom Dixon and is supported by a multidisciplinary Editorial Group spanning liver critical care, hepatology, surgery and research. Meet the Editorial Group.
How AI will be used
AI may assist literature surveillance, classification, first-draft summaries and administrative workflows. It will not publish clinical content autonomously, provide patient-specific advice or replace human editorial review.

The Liver Critical Care Hub is an independent project. It should not be interpreted as an official publication or position of any NHS trust, university, professional society or employer. Views expressed by named contributors are their own unless explicitly stated otherwise.
